OSHA Compliant Safety Programs
Core Roofing Systems recognizes the role of safety in the workplace. A safe workplace is generally a more productive workplace benefiting both the contractor and the property owner. The safety of our employees is of the utmost importance at Core Roofing Systems. For this reason, we constantly ensure all federal, state and provincial regulations are met or exceeded with regards to fall arrest, occupational health and safety, and OSHA regulations.

The following is an excerpt from the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and is typical of many federal, state and provincial regulations:
- This Act may be cited as the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
- The foundation of this Act is the Internal Responsibility System, which is based on the principle, that:
- Employers, contractors, constructors, employees and self-employed persons at a workplace, and
- The owner of a workplace, a supplier of goods or provider of an occupational health or safety service to a workplace or an architect or professional engineer, all of whom can affect the health and safety of persons at the workplace, share the responsibility for the health and safety of persons at the workplace.
- These regulations apply not only to roofing contractors who may be working on the roof, but to anyone who accesses the roof including employees of the building owner or manager.
